In Case You Missed It: Glide's NHD Marketplace

In Case You Missed It: Glide's NHD Marketplace

The team here at Glide is always on the lookout for ways to save time for our real estate professional clients - where can we optimize workflows or improve efficiencies?

One area where we knew we could save time was on ordering the required Natural Hazard Disclosure report. Why should agents have to go to a separate system to order a report that they upload to their disclosure package in Glide?  To solve this problem, Glide has introduced the NHD Marketplace!

Here’s how it works:

1. When setting up a transaction, ordering an NHD is now part of the core workflow.  After you’ve sent disclosure forms to your seller, you’re automatically shown the NHD marketplace.

NHD Marketplace Screen

2. From here, you can select an NHD report from any of the top six NHD providers: JCP, First American, Property ID, Disclosure Source, SnapNHD and MyNHD.  If you don’t see your favorite vendor on this screen, let us know! We’re excited to work with new partners.

3. After you select your preferred vendor, the next screen will ask you to select from that vendor’s product offerings. And, if you have an existing relationship with one of their representatives, you can add their information.

NHD Order Screen

4. Then, you provide the escrow information for payment.

5. That’s it! When your report is complete, it will appear in the ‘Documents’ section of the transaction and you will receive email confirmation of its delivery.

Plus, if you miss the NHD marketplace during the transaction set up, you can always access it from the workflows screen.

Early adopters of Glide’s NHD Marketplace have noted that it’s very convenient, and 85% of purchasers have given the marketplace experience a 10/10, with one user noting, “... it’s practically perfect!’
