Important Message from Glide

Dear Glide Community,

You may have seen an announcement earlier today from Lone Wolf confirming that our partnership is ending.     

After learning many months ago that Glide is expanding from a disclosure solution into a modern alternative for preparing any real estate form, Lone Wolf has pursued increasingly aggressive actions to try to prevent us launching a competing product.  This began with proposed acquisition discussions (which we refused), escalated into threats of litigation and today resulted in the filing of a baseless lawsuit claiming theft of trade secrets.     

While we were disappointed to see a former partner turn hostile in this way, we were not exactly surprised.  As we work hard to innovate and make your lives easier, there will always be incumbents who try to suppress competition to protect their own self interest.  While we prefer to compete in the marketplace, they want to battle in a courtroom.  We will vigorously defend the lawsuit and we are confident that Lone Wolf’s claims lack merit. 

Looking ahead, we’re more committed than ever to our vision of faster, simpler and safer transactions for every REALTOR® and client. Knowing all the crazy challenges you have to endure to keep your businesses moving forward -- from market shifts to pandemics and everything in between -- the least we can do is return the favor.
